Hi, is the exchange contacts sync still in development? I would be nice to have this feature. Would not need sogo connector anymore. : o )
Yes it is still in development and only currently in concept.
I’ve installed the new exchangecalendar-3.2.0-Beta46 with Thunderbird 17.0.8 and it tells me when I hover over the icon on my calendar that “The calendar Work is connected to the exchange server.” The problem is, it doesn’t matter how many times I synchronize my calendar, nothing ever appears. This is really detrimental for me as Evolution isn’t a mail client that I can use (it’s not as detailed as I need it to be – I.E., it refuses to accept my HTML signature and locks up), but the calendar just works.
Is there anything that I can send to you – or anything you can think of that I need to do to pull my calendar down – so that I can get this issue resolved as quickly as possible?
Thanks and V/R,
Great job on that addon my company recently changed to office365 from google-apps and it was a nightmare.
I have a question, is there a way to enable in your addon write to calander and not read-only mode in office365 (EWS) ? thanks !
Please try latest Beta version from site.
first of all thanks for this provider that I use every days and makes possible to works in linux in a windows environment. That’s really great !
My question concerne the privacy of created event. By default the privacy is set to public and I would like to have it set, by default, to “Show time and date only”. Is there a way to do it ? Maybe in the about:config or in option ? I google to find this option but did not find something… Can you help ?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Hi, This has been discussed in the past. The privacy is just a flag which is not used by the exchange server but by the client. The client alwasy receives all data, also private data and not just date and time values, and based on the status of the privacy flag the client can decide what to show. Currently the add-on just shows them as normal public events. This to show that the client still has all the event data and there is really no privacy.
