There is a new folder browser functionality in the Exchange add-on for Lightning (details). With this functionality you can select the right folder without any problem of typing mistakes. Just browse the folder structure as it lives in Exchange.
There is a new version, 0.7.34, available of the Exchange 2007/2010 Calendar and Tasks provider for Thunderbird. This version adds a new feature: Managing Out of Office settings.
